Roz Ure Roz presents Stage Door every Sunday evening from 6pm-7pm. All about Roz ... Favourite bands/artists Paloma Faith, Katy Perry, Lisa Hannigan, Kate Bush, Kate Monster (Avenue Q). I love a whole range of Musical Theatre including: Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Gershwin, Sondheim and Jason Robert Brown. I love chilling out to a bit of Jazz too – love Claire Martin and Jamie Cullum. Favourite singles/tracks Upside Down – Paloma Faith; My One And Only – Claire Martin. Favourite albums Closer Than Ever – Original Broadway Cast Recording; Someone Else’s Clothes – Jason Robert Brown; Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful – Paloma Faith; When Lights Are Low – Claire Martin & Richard Rodney Bennett. Favourite books Ashenden – William Somerset Maugham; The Old Curiosity Shop – Charles Dickens; Dawn French’s Biography; The Tales of the City Series – Armistead Maupin. I like reading books before going to see films of them, although I found this tough with Revolutionary Road. Favourite TV and films Friends; Pushing Daisies; Have I Got News For You; Mock The Week; Sex and the City; The Shawshank Redemption; Singing In The Rain. One other thing I love I love performing comedy, writing comedy and laughing at other people’s comedy. I also love my cat Scrabble, white wine ... oh and hubby!! One thing I really hate The unneutered Tom cat that keeps getting into my house and making it smell like cat pee. (Mind you, it’s cleared my sinuses!) |
