The pilot show and coming up next

Body Talk - 18th April 2007

The first show featured an interesting discussion with Andrea Ward -
Kinesiologist, and Sandra Randall - Reflexologist.
Kinesiology is the art of muscle testing to correct imbalances within the
body. Andrea explained how our bodies know what's wrong with them, we just
generally aren't aware of the signals that we are being given. It's benefits
are substantial, and it's not just for adults, it works equally as well for
Reflexology is more than just a relaxing foot massage, it can reveal a lot
about the health of your body. Sandra explained how she can detect
congestion or disease in the body by gentle manipulation of the foot.
Different parts of the foot are linked to limbs and organs. Small
crystal-like deposits build up around the problem areas, which can be
detected by an expert like Sandra. She says she has had her greatest
successes working with healing broken limbs. The natural result of any
accident is that the body needs to rest, but regular treatments of
reflexology ensure that circulation doesn't become sluggish, and helps to
speed up the healing process.
Two fascinating subjects to start the show. Maybe we'll get a chance to
hear some more about them over the coming weeks.

Body Talk - 24th April 2007

This week on Body Talk I'll be interviewing Sharon Cogdale about yoga. Her
background is in the health and fitness industry, having been a fitness
instructor for many years, and very much into all aspects of physical
fitness. It's only in recent years that she has turned to yoga and is
currently training to be a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga.
We'll be hearing Sharon's story of how she has benefited from yoga and just
what's involved in becoming a teacher.
