Sunday 31st August 2008

This week I started with Das Pop and Going Underground which has like the slugs surrounding my garden invaded my consciousness in the last week. This week I didn’t do a featured album or band (even though I was suffering ever so slightly from being out late the night before at REM at Twickenham). I did think today a good opportunity to feature all or the recently announced Top 20 Show Artists. I played

At 8.30 we did this.... today given Barack Obama, Sarah Palin and the fact that it was 45 years since the Martin Luther King ‘I have a Dream’ speech meant I played Tom Clay singing ‘ What the World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love. I do however have a detractor whose information I am checking and the outcome will be announced next Sunday (Its alleged that SP is not the first female VP candidate) I’ll let you know. Glad to see that the international contingent is not silent.... Thank You!
