Body Talk - 30th September

My guest this evening was Theresa Powell, Holistic Therapist from the Harmony Centre, Harold Hill.

This local venue offers a wide range of holistic treatments for mind body and soul. A haven amongst the chaos of everyday life. Theresa is a Reiki practitioner, and has been giving this sooothing form of healing since 1997.

It is a natural treatment that helps to release blocked energy. It is usually given on a couch or a comfy chair if preferred. The client remains fully clothed. All treatments are gentle with no manipulation of the body or discomfort to the client.

This is an ideal therapy for people who don't like or are not suited to the more hands on forms of healing. Theresa has much experience working with older age groups and those who are less able. The centre is totally accessible for the disabled.

There are also many other therapies available, including Indian Head Massage,and Aromatherapy. All treatments can be adapted to suit individual needs.
