Sunday Breakfast Snowed In Double Whammy!Sunday Breakfast 8th and 15th February 2009 Chinese New Year happened on January 26th and the Year of the Ox is upon us. I have made a Chinese New Years Resolution........If that's not bad luck....To Do This Playlist Sooner after the Programme!!....here I am playing catch up once again, and whilst there was in the meantime various levels of snow and ice, rain and very little sun, a lot of water has, quite literally passed under the bridge in the last two weeks. Sunday Breakfast 15th February 2009 It had been a week of more snow with me almost descending into an arctic expedition on the A14 in the course of the week without even the comfort of a Mars Bar! Also on the cusp....is this right .......of Half Term.....when the Swiss Alps have been known to become millimeters shorter when the weight of skiers and their attendant paraphenalia descends upon them.......and I'm told some don't actually go for the skiing!...anyway all of this led to much in the local events revolving around entertaining the kids if dreams of the piste had been credit crunched....on with the music! Ordinary Boys - Boys Will Be Boys Coldplay - Life In Technicolor II Cast - Sandstorm Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra Earlier , and in another part of town....my back garden....as the snow had now melted I noticed some flowers had grown but also the grass was looking somewhat dishevelled prompting me to put the question to the Guru of Gardening Mr Babicz.....when could I mow....not so much the lawn but the....green mess...we chatted about this just after 10....but to cut a short story short it appears I am free to wallow in slothdom for a few months to come....It's apparently not a good idea to mow the grass this time of year.
