The Saturday Kickabout - 29 August

This weekend on The Saturday Kickabout Steve Robertson and Dan Westram brought the very latest sport updates on another busy day in sport.

The programme started with the surprise pole position of Giancarlo Fisichella's Force India at the Belgian Grand Prix answer the mouth-watering prospect of the World Championship contenders in lower grid positions, with Vettel in 8th, Webber in 9th and Jenson Button way back in 14th place (in good company near World Champion Lewis Hamilton in 12th and Fernando Alonso in 15th.

The Rugby League Challenge Cup Final took place at Wembley, finishing Huddersfield 16 - 25 Warrington.

We also spoke to John Walford, congratulating Brentwood Cricket Club on finishing the Essex Premier League as champions with two games left to play.

Kathryn Berry from Sport Essex joined us on the phone to discuss the Sport Unlimited initiative, aimed at children and young people in the coming academic year.
