One Big 'Fact Hunt'

The following facts were hidden in this week’s edition of the Sunday Hangover:

Fact! We were joined by special guest Liz Mee, one of the top 12 funniest women in the UK.

Fact! Liz bemoaned the size of Jordan’s breasts and people who make their career with a pair of boobs. That’s her teaming up with John and Pete out the window then.

Fact! Pete combines the words ‘cripes’ and ‘crikey’ to invent the world’s lamest exclamation: cripey.

And in newsy chunks:
Fact! ‘Lucky the sheep’ is killed by a golf ball after ‘stupid the owner’ leaves it next to a golf course.

Fact! After a meat factory starts charging employees for every minute they’re on the toilet, completion rates of the Sun crossword plummet.
Fact! On news that the National Trust has replaced men’s urinals with hay bales – great for chatting – Sunday Best presenter Andrew Babicz runs out of the studio with a glint in his eye.

Fact! Jim Carey revealed he cried when seeing himself in A Christmas Carol. Not as much as Charles Dickens did, Jim.

Fact! 28 households in Brentwood still have black & white TV. 27 of them in response to Cheryl Cole’s outfit on the X-Factor.

And in the show’s regular features:
Fact! Martin Luther King’s deceased mum is now 18 years old and living in Tenerife. We used a 16th Century ghost to find that out, courtesy of Psychic News.

Fact! Presenter Victoria Murphy is a massive fan of John’s “thought of the week” and is now referring to herself as a “thought of the week-ette”. This week’s TOTW was another classic: isn’t it ironic that there’s no rhyming slang phrase for ‘Cockney Rhyming Slang’.
