The guest Bodytalk on 24 November was Mr Rajiv Varma, consultant gynaecologist at Spire Hartswood Hospital, he took time out of his busy schedule to talk to Jules Bottazzi. He spoke about pelvic floor problems and the day to day difficulties that even quite young women face when suffering different forms of incontinence. He explained how these problems occur and what women can do to help themselves in the first instance, and what medical and surgical treatment is now available to reduce or totally eliminate their symptoms, including day case surgery to cure the very common problem of stress incontinence (that's nothing to do with mental stress by the way).
