Residents demand road calming measures to be put on Church Road, Ramsden Bellhouse after a car ended up in a garden wall in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  Luckily the driver walked away from the crash and received checks from Basildon Hospital after suffering from Shock

Mrs Walton spoke to the Evening Echo saying that “I would like to see the speed limit cut down to 20mph.They should put a speed camera up here before someone gets killed.” 

The road is already 30 mph but motorists have been caught doing nearly double the speed limit

On Monday a Midday supervisor suffered a heart attack whilst working at the Anglo European School, she was rushed to hospital but never regained consciousness.  And that same day just after the school started for the day the assistant headteacher Mr Adock was taken to intensive care at Queen's Hospital Romford after he also suffered a heart attack.  The Students and teaching staff are in shock and express their sadness over the Death of Mrs Brown and wish Mr Adock a speedy recovery.

A Classic car rally will be taking place on Sunday April the 25th, which is also National Drive it Day for Classic Car Enthusiasts.  The route will follow the historic path cars would have taken in years gone by along the original A12 through villages and scenic countryside.  The day will raise money and awareness for Colchester-based brain injury charity Headway Essex which supports those living with a brain injury and their families .

Brentwood Detectives have appealed for information after a burglary in Wainwright Avenue, Hutton on Tuesday 2nd February at 9.15pm.  It was a frightening and traumatic attack on a woman and her two children.  After holding a crowbar to the woman's face and ransacking the rooms the men ran out with £45 from the woman's purse.  Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed until April pending further enquiries.  If you have any further information please contact DC Persad at Brentwood CID on 0300 333 4444

Essex County Councils Youth Bus is proving a hit with the teens in Lake Meadows Billericay.  The bus was bursting at capacity as the youngsters watched DVD's used games consoles and enjoyed cups of hot chocolate. Staff were also on hand to offer advice on alcohol and drug awareness, sexual health, bullying; representatives from connexions were also available to help teenagers write a CV.  The youth bus will run every Tuesday night from 6.30 to 9.30 until the end of March.

What to watch Valentines Day
 
SPORTY PEOPLE: You might enjoy some Winter Olympics coverage on BBC 2between 12 and 2pm Sunday Lunchtime. That's followed by live coverage of Italy playing England in the Live Six nations from 2pm to 4.30pm.  However if you are more of a footie couple there is Live FA Cup Action on ITV from 12.55, with Bolton Wanderers kick off against Tottenham at 1.30pm and Crystal Palace Play Aston Villa at 3.45.  There's just enough time to grab a romantic bite to eat before the Live Winter Olympics starts again at 8pm on BBC 2.
 
TV & MOVIE FANS: All star Mr and Mrs on ITV 2 can get you in the mood for spending the day together - how much do you know about your other half??? Glee  - new American comedy/drama set in a high school  - is on 5.30 til 6.30.  At 6.55 - 50 First Dates starring Drew Barrymore is on Channel 5.  Gordon Brown reveals all in Piers Morgan's Life Stories at 10.15.  And if you are a late starter on Monday morning then the Talented Mr Ripley is on Channel 4 from 11.35.
