Monday 21st February - Parents Parking????

Are you guilty of bad parking in Brentwood when you collect the kids from school???
Parents on the school run are ignoring Road Safety and the Highway Code by parking illegally and dangerously outside the school gates across  Brentwood.  What kind of an example is this setting drivers of the future?
And its not just parking that I was shocked by this weekend, as I witnessed a car driving the wrong way through a no entry sign.  When I gestured to say that it was no entry he waived back as if to say its OK I am above the Law and Highway Code.  How do these people pass their tests????

The underdog was rewarded last night:
The Iraq war drama, The Hurt Locker scooped six BAFTAS includiung 'Best Film' and 'Best Director' prize for
Kathryn Bigelow (pron: bigga-low).
Two British performers were also rewarded for their hardwork; Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan both received leading actor awards for their roles in A Single Man and An Education.
Fish Tank was named 'Outstanding British Film' which is suprising as there was some risky casting of an unknown and un trained actress playing the part of Mia.  And from one newcomer to another Twilight actress Kristen Stewart won 'Rising Star' honour in the only BAFTA voted for by the public.
In the seventh week Sharron Davies ended up in the bottom two with actress Emily Atack, was saved by the judges after the skate off- but Sharron promised she would keep skating at her local rink in Swindon.
Darius the Diva beat Bernie Nolan and won the nations hearts in Friday's Final.  It was a close call but both would have been worthy winners - what great voices, now that's what I call singing!!
Tim Metcalfe shares his Birthday with James Blunt  36, Jenny Frost 32
