Thursday 4th March - MMMmmmmm smell the fresh bread...

I had a lovely morning tasting Chris' bread with honey on the Soda Bread and Chutney on the Beteroot and Carrot Bread.  So, if you were sat at home listening to my show or you are catching up with my blog now then why not click on to the link below and start cooking.  You can fill your spare time creating a delicious meal that you can enjoy eating and sharing with friends & family.

GUEST: Chris Skinner - the Redundancy Cookbook

Chris lost his job in spring 2009 and started to fill his spare time cooking. It went well and the Redundancy Cookbook was born. The aim of the site is to offer affordable recipes and sound shopping tips for people with time to kill

This morning Chris brought in some delicious soda Bread and Carrot and Beetroot bread which proves that you can put anything you fancy in to bread.  Bread is a very forgiving food if you get the ingredients wrong so definitely a good place to start if you haven't stepped in to a kitchen before!!!  The recipes can be found on the website: www.redundancycookbook.co.uk and don't forget to post photos of the recipes that you have tried and enjoyed!!

Chris has said that he would live to come back and chat some more about his food creations so we arranging a time for him to come in just before Easter to give you a selection of treats that you can make over the Bank Holiday Weekend!!!
