The Saturday Kickabout Through April

As we headed towards the end of another month, April saw The Satiurday Kickabout include:-

Mike Burchett from Forest Glade FC with the Community Football Surgery, looking forward to the Forest Glade Fives, which takes place this year on the 29th and 30th of May.  In previous years the two day tournament has attracted around 130 teams and over 2000 visitors to the ground.  More information on the event can be found at http://www.forestgladefc.com/FG5s2010.htm.

We also spoke to Joe Lane of the Brightside Six, who will be rowing 100 miles of the River Thames from Southend Pier to Windsor starting on Saturday 8th of May.  They are raising money for the Armed Forces Charity.  More information and details on how to donate can be found at http://www.justgiving.com/h4h100
