The world of demonic pears......

With John Graddon off gallivanting again, it was left to me Peter to bring you this week’s Sunday Hangover. As ever we covered the week’s very weirdest news including:
-          The woman who discovered a pear slice with a demonic face carved in when she opened up a tin of pears – that’ll teach her to buy tinned fruit
-          The Brits who have sailed a bouncy castle across Lake Garda – makes you proud to be British
-          The West Midlands Ambulance Service’s survey asking staff to rate Adolf Hitler on a scale of 1 to 5 for coolness – a 5 obviously
-          Lou Reed’s forthcoming concert with music for dogs – humans apparently won’t be able to hear much of it. How will we know when if it’s not a con? Surely the dogs are unlikely to be able to tell you if they just don’t play anything?
And we discovered the most dangerous places to get amorous from a new survey – basically everywhere – particularly dangerous are chairs, gardens and work cupboards. And the most common injury was a pulled muscle. The survey organisers suggested doing a check for dangerous items before getting it on – because that won’t be a passion killer will it?!!
