Due to a massive public demand, Hylands House, Chelmsford is proud to announce that the Last Night of the Proms is to return to Hylands House headlined by Mezzo Soprano Katherine Jenkins.
The fabulous setting of Hylands House is once again set to sparkle in the Classical Calender of the South East of England. A stunning venue for a picnic concert.
Special guest French Tenor AMAURY VASSILI.
Full first-class catering facilities are on-site. Easy free parking and disabled facilities provided.
Please note: You are not permitted to bring tables, high back chairs, professional photographic equipment and all other items that will be printed on the reverse side of your ticket.
All tickets will be posted by Royal Mail Special Delivery 14 days before the concert.

A showcase for young musicians to perform on a large stage
The Rotary Club of Great Britain and Ireland will hold its first ever final of Young Musician in Brentwood Cathedral. Competitors for two separate events i.e. singing and instrumental (15 finalists in all) coming from all around the country including Ireland and Wales will be at our Cathedral from 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, 29th May. Entry is by a programme on the door and we would ask for £5 donation for charity - but it will be a donation only and will include tea and coffee at the interval. Please come and support our local young lady Carina Gascoine, a student at the Brentwood School and enjoy an entertaining musical evening.

with Chorale Cantando (conductor: Philip Norman)
Admission free - retiring collection
Korisma's repertoire includes folk song arrangements, some polyphony and more popular pieces. The music on this tour is mainly Norwegian and Swedish. Chorale Cantando is an a capella vocal ensemble singing a repertoire ranging from Renaissance motets to show songs and novelty items.

St Thomas’ Brentwood
LUNCHTIME CONCERTS are held during the summer months (April to September) usually on the last Friday of the month from 1.00pm until 1.45pm. Admission is free with a retiring collection. Sandwiches and drinks are on sale from 12.30pm.
The concerts are self-financing and since the first season began in 1995, performances have been given by local schoolchildren, teachers, professional and amateur musicians, including members of St Thomas" congregation.
