28th June to the 2nd July - It is the countdown to my Wedding!!!

After a busy weekend of Wedding preparation I have come to Phoenix for a bit of a rest and normality!!! This week I have seen Beauty Queens lose their title and prizes and the miracle of a bionic vet giving a 10th life with new feet!

Tuesday 29th I was joined by Michael Hewitt (My future father in law) from the Choir for all Seasons as they are presenting Sing it with Flowers this Saturday at the United Reform church in Chapel Street Billericay. The whole evening is about flowers as expressed by poets and musicians, with solos (including piano), a duet, a quartet and readings - very suitable for a warm summer's evening. Starts 8pm and tickets are just £6 are available from choir members, 'Presence' (the gift shop and coffee shop in Billericay High Street) or by ringing Michael Hewitt on 01277 656935 or on the door.

Midweek Movies: Not a lot of movement in the top 10 which says to me that there are some good films worth going to see at the cinema!

Mid Week Movies

  1. Russel brand and Jonah Hill hit the top spot this week with Get him to the Greek - Clearly it will be a hit because of the cast but that is no guarantee
  2. After a week in the Top spot Killers moves in to 2nd position but it is still a popular choice with the highest audience attendance
  3. And Sex and the City 2 also falls in to 3rd position after 5 weeks at the box office
  4. Prince of Persia holds its position for the third week running
  5. Street Dance 3D although still in the top 5 it is on the slippery slope out of the top 10
  6. It is the third week in 6th position for Death at a Funeral
  7. The collector is a new entry at number 7 - A Thrilling crime horror, Desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife, an ex-con plots a heist at his new employer's country home, unaware that a second criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps
