Robbie Williams gets married

Robbie Williams is marrying his long term girlfriend, Ayda Field today, on an island off the coast of California.
It will be an intimate, small wedding, as a source has revealed 'They have tried to keep the guest list for the wedding as small as possible, and have only revealed scant details of the ceremony to the lucky few who are invited.'
Robbie's parents and his best friend Jonathan Wilkes are said to have flown over for the wedding but unfortunately his Take That band mates are unable to attend due to holidays organised beforehand.
The singer has been dating actress Ayda Field since 2007, and proposed to her last November on an Austrian radio show.

The couple will have a two-week honeymoon before Robbie returns to the UK to promote new Take That single ‘Shame’, due out in October.

Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s argument

Things are getting a bit catty between Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Katy Perry has tweeted: "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke." Even though Perry never actually mentioned Gaga’s name, it has been rumoured it was aimed at Gaga’s Alejandro video as it features her putting rosary beads in her mouth while dressed as a nun.

Lady Gaga jumped to defend her video by tweeting "So many will try to destroy me. So many, over and over, coming in periods of greatness… but in this period, I cannot be broken."

She also described the Alejandro video "a celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community, my admiration of their bravery, their love for one another, and their courage in relationships".

Apparently Katy Perry has more recently stated that she stands by her previous comments and insists even her fiance Russell Brand cannot get away with blasphemy.

The singer, who’s parents are both Christian pastors has said “I am sensitive to Russell taking the Lord’s name in vain and to Lady Gaga putting a rosary in her mouth’.

When people accused Perry of aiming the original tweet at Gaga she said “Everybody was assuming that I was directing [the tweet] completely towards her and if I was directing something I would write their [twitter username],” she said. “Lately I’ve just been seeing some things that are kind of like, I don’t know, in my own personal feelings, a little bit like not something I would do I guess.”

Some people may thing she is being hypercritical as her rise to fame was singing about ‘kissing a girl’ and her clothing she wears in the California girls video seems a bit revealing, but at least she doesn’t mix the sexual things with religious things.

She has said  ‘I think when you put sex and spirituality in the same bottle and shake it up, bad things happen’.

Lilly Allen is pregnant

Lilly Allen has announced she and her boyfriend Sam Cooper, who she has been dating since last summer, are expecting their first child.

The star's recent appearances in floaty outfits and reportedly refusing alcohol at the Wireless Festival had many guessing that she was about to become a mum.

A recent hospital scan shows Lilly is three months pregnant; however this isn’t the first time she has been an expectant mother. In December 2007 she revealed she was pregnant with then boyfriend Ed Simons, from the Chemical Brothers. But a month later she sadly suffered a miscarriage.

Lilly, who is now taking a break from pop to set up a vintage fashion store, has said "It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted."

Her spokesman confirmed: "Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child.

"Lily's professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend."

So a big congratulations to them, and hope everything runs smoothly. I’m sure their happy news has made them smile.

Justin Bieber stars in his own film

I have some film news now for fans of Justin Bieber.  He has told magazine, Teen Vogue, that in the near future he will be starring in a movie about his own life, and touch on themes such as his childhood, being raised by a single mum and his rise to stardom using the internet, YouTube and Twitter.

A script is in development that will Portray Justin Bieber in a similar way to how The 8 mile depicted Eminem’s life.
Bieber has said ‘We’re trying to set up a movie for me in the near future. It’s going to be similar to the story of how I got discovered. Kinda like my own version of 8 Mile.’

However the idea of the film has been criticised . He is only 16 years old and some people think he has not grasped fully the hardships and struggles of life.
Well what do you think? Keep a look out for the film and then you can make up your mind to whether Justin Bieber has had big struggles in his life, or you can just sit back and watch your favourite star on the big screen.
