Cher and Lady Gaga are plot music collaboration

Cher and Lady Gaga met for the first time at the MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles earlier last month, when Cher, presented Gaga, with the Video of the Year prize.

Sources claim that they became firm friends immediately. Author Mark Bego, who has written two books about Cher has said, "They are now like mother and daughter. They both take their outlandish fashion sense dead seriously, both have a sense of humour about themselves, and they are both staunch gay rights activists."

Now it has been said that they are plotting to do a music collaboration together.  An insider has revealed, "They've talked about performing in concert together - and perhaps even recording a duet."
So listen out for that one.

I think they would be quite good at being designers together, maybe? I wonder what weird and whacky clothes they would come up with!

Pixie lotts lipsy range party

In April this year local singer Pixie Lott, launched a range of  clothing for fashion shop Lipsy. They came in two categories Party and Festival, Pixie’s two main loves.

She said: The collection is very me and that's why it was great to do the two looks - festival and party - as I love festivals and I love going out. It's good for people looking for something to wear over the summer and for the weekends.

This week, however she was at the House of Fraser on Oxford Street cutting a ribbon for the launch of her new Autumn/Winter Lipsy collection. She then hosted a party at the Gilgamesh restaurant in Camden. Many stars attended the party such as Tinchy Stryder, Professor Green, Mollie King (from The Saturdays) and modal Danielle Lloyd. The party also provided guests with a popcorn machine, Pick and Mix and a photo booth. Well Pixie sure knows how to throw a party!

Top ten sob songs Poll

Women can often get emotional when certain songs come on and maybe have a little cry, but you don’t often see men crying to songs. However a new survey has revealed the top 10 songs which are most likely to make men sob.

Some of these included U2’s With or Without you, Elton John’s Candle in the Wind, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah and The Verve’s The Drugs don’t work.

The poll was conducted by PRS for Music which is an organisation who collects royalties. Their research shows that Sinead O'Connor was the only woman on the list at number four with her song Nothing Compares 2 U.

But the number one song which is mostly likelt o make men cry is R.E.M’s Everybody Hurts.

Justin Bieber has been turned into a toy

Last week I broke many hearts by saying that that Justin Bieber had been spotted kissing a girl in the back of a car, but now I can mend them heart as I have some good news. Everyone can now have a Justin Bieber of there own, because he has now turned into a range of dolls!

There are two to choose from, The Music Video Collection which the figures play 30second clips from his hit songs such as ‘Baby’ and ‘One Less lonely girl’ and the doll is dressed in Justin’s outfits from these videos and they are also complete with miniature instruments and microphone.

The JB Style Collection, features Justin figurines dressed in 3 different styles, being "street style", "awards style" and "red carpet style" outfits. The mini Justin dolls will be released in December, just in time for Christmas!

However Justin Biber isn’t the first star to be turned into dolls, other famous singers such as the Spice Girls, Take That and Britney Spears all had their own figurines, and also Last year, Sienna Miller was turned into an action figure in the guise of her 'G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra' character Baroness.

Take That announce album title

Everything Changes, Nobody Else and Beautiful World are just some of the names of Take That albums. But now they have announced the title of their sixth studio album.

The band's first LP as a five-piece since Robbie Williams left  in 1995, is called ‘Progress’ and it will be released on November 22nd. It will be lead by the single 'The Flood', which the music video was shot on the River Thames. Interesting fact for you there.

The LP has been executive produced by Stuart Price, who previously worked on Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor, Kylie Minogue's ‘Aphrodite’ and Scissor Sisters' latest record ‘Night Work’. The album follows ‘The Circus’, which topped the charts in 2008 and spawned the number one hit 'Greatest Day'.

Take That and Robbie Williams have sold over 80 million albums between them, managing 13 number one albums and 17 number one singles.

Wow that is a lot. If you know anyone who is a Take That fan, Progress might be a good Christmas present, just and idea.

X-Factor

X Factor bosses are soon to screen the longest edition of the show yet – which is to last two-and-a-half hours! The programme on October 9th (next Saturday) will be the first of the live shows for this series as the 12 finalists take to the stage to perform.

An ITV spokesman confirmed the show is the longest in the history of the series. The increased length is understood to be due to a "surprise" for viewers. Oh I wonder what that could be?

Last year it was repeatedly criticized that the X-factor over lapped with BBC One rival show Strictly Come Dancing, however the longer version of X-factor will not clash as Strictly finishes at 7.40pm, in time for the start of The X Factor.

Judge Simon Cowell has also been popular in the media this week as he is apparently considering legal action after a website posted a list of the twelve X Factor finalists before it was officially revealed on ITV1.

Simon and X Factor producers go to serious lengths to try and keep the outcome of each show a secret, in order to not ruin the surprise for fans of the reality show. Even Journalists are banned from the room when the decisions are made and the acts are made to sign confidentiality agreements.
An unnamed source has said "Simon is very, very disappointed,".

The upcoming two episodes will see the remaining 36 acts from the boys, girls, over-28s and groups categories whittled down to the final 12.
