Eastenders and Coronation Street come together for Children In Need

It was Children In Need night last night and there were lots of musical performances from stars such as Alexandra Burke, Take That, The Saturdays and JLS performed the official Children In Need Song 'Love you more'.

There were also appearances from different characters such as Doctor Who and of course Pudsey the Bear.

But one of the biggest things to happen last night was the casts of popular soaps Eastenders and Coronation Street to appear together for the first time ever.

The special cross over was called 'East Street' and it saw characters from each programme go and visit the other set.

Liz McDonald was serving behind the bar with Kat Moon in the queen Vic where, Jason Grimshaw bought Whitney a drink and Michelle Connor sang with Alfie Moon.

Elsewhere, Dev meets Masood in the Minute Mart and Gail bumps into Denise in Kathy's Cafe.

This all happened in Walford but in the mean time Christian and Sean have a chat in The Rovers, while Eileen and Zainab have a coffee together.

Speaking about the historic special, 'EastEnders' star Shane Ritchie, who plays Alfie, said: 'It's been surreal. I loved watching their reactions when I showed them round the Square. And seeing Bev and Jessie behind the bar was strange.'

Pink Pregnant

Last week I mentioned some famous women who are pregnant such as Holly Willoughby and this week there is another celebrity pregnancy.

Pink revealed on a US talk show that she is expecting her first child with husband Carey Hart, she also informed her friends and fans on twitter posing 'My wish for this pregnancy, besides a healthy happy baby, is for the paparazzi to leave us alone and let me gain my weight in peace.'

Singer Katy Perry replied to Pinks Tweet by saying 'Congratulations & amen to your wish,'

But Katy isn't the only star to celebrate Pink's baby news - former Spice Girl Mel C also wrote on her Twitter page, 'Congratulations! It is without a doubt the best thing ever'.

So congrates to Pink!

AMAs (American Music Awards)

The 2010 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 (8:00-11:00 p.m.) on ABC.

Many artists will be performing such as Rihanna who will open the show 'with a song no one's ever heard her do before,' says producer Larry Klein, along with a track from her new album.

The Awards seem very exciting as Pink is also set to take to the stage in Los Angeles, with skateboard ramps, skateboarders and aerial artists involved in her performance and one artist will appear on an industrial set with moving boxes and elevator lifts.

Stars such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo and Usher, Carlos Santana and Gavin Rossdale are also in the running order and Carlos Sanatana said he was eager to see Ne-Yo perform by saying 'He's the closest to Michael Jackson without wanting to be Michael Jackson, and I love Michael Jackson.'

In between all the singing, awards will be presented in nine popular genres, including pop and rock, rap/hip-hop, country, Latin and soul/R&B.

Eminem and country trio Lady Antebellum lead nominees with five apiece. Bieber is up for four awards, while Ke$ha and Perry have three bids each.

Closing the show will be New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys in their first-ever TV performance together.

The producer has said 'It's like a mash-up. They're throwing lyrics back and forth, trading off songs,' 'It's something that no one's ever seen before.'

In between all the singing, awards will be presented in nine popular genres, including pop and rock, rap/hip-hop, country, Latin and soul/R&B.

Eminem has five nominations with Justin Bieber with four awards, and Ke$ha and Perry have three nominations each.

Nominees were determined by radio play and music sales, but fans voted online for the winners.

Royal Engagement

It was announced this week that Prince William and Kate Middleton have got engage. The couple was spending the night at the 'romantic' lakeside Rutundu Log Cabins in Mount Kenya National Park.

It's been said that Prince William chose this location as the spot to propose to the 28-year-old beauty because it is so 'inaccessible', and it is believed he popped the question on the veranda of the couple's cabin.

Kate celebrated her newly-engaged status by throwing a dinner party at the royal residence Clarence House for 12 close female friends after her new fiance returned to his RAF base in North Wales.

After partying into the early hours of the morning, she then spent the day discussing plans for the wedding, which is expected to be held at Westminster Abbey in London and could take place as early as March.

It has been claimed that Kate will become a 'full-time royal' when she marries Prince William, and will accompany him on all official engagements.

A palace insider has said: 'She will perform full-time royal duties. She wants to support William at all times. The decision has been made not to give Kate her own office, but William's office will expand.'

Justin Beiber taught how to flirt

Boys, if your not natural at flirting wouldn't it be great to have a teacher to tell you exactly how to walk, talk and flirt. Well 16 year old Justin Bieber has just that! A source has said his advisor, who is called Ryan, even tells him 'how to wear his hat to attract as many girls as possible'.

Ryan tells Justin exactly how to act in order to impress the public and how to present himself to members of the opposite sex. Well it certainly seems to work as Bieber always has screaming girls after him! However he has admitted he doesn't understand why he is so popular and doesn't see himself as 'cool'.

He said: 'I'm not even that cool, like seriously. What is so cool like that you freak out? These girls crying, it's like I can't believe that, I'm so honored that you're crying but, I don't know, it's crazy to me!'

Well girls can get even closer to him by smelling like him as he is planning to release his own perfume.

He has said: 'Most male celebrities do male colognes for other males. I think that me making a female fragrance is just a different idea and I think it's going to be successful. It's going to be really big.' And also Justin's autobiography 'First Step 2 Forever' is available now.
