In The Mix - 11th December 2010

This Saturday it was a very busy show. With all the usual great music and Celebrity gossip we also had Brentwood Band States of Emotion in the studio for an interview! If you missed it and want to listen back it will be up on the website very soon so keep a look out for that! And here is the other gossip which happened this week... N-dubz Band Member in a film The only female singer of the band, N-dubz, is starring in a film called Suicide Kids. Tulisa plays one of seven depressed London teens who create a pact to take their own lives, but it all ends with a bitter twist. Director Arjun Rose said how well she done on set: "She's awesome, that's the word to describe her. She looks beautiful, she knew all her lines. She was pretty much getting into the performance first time." Adulthood's Adam Deacon and Hollyoaks actress Emma Rigby also feature in the film which in due to be released in UK cinemas next April. Dappy has 2nd son Co-Band member Dappy and his girlfriend Kaye Vassell are celebrating the birth of their second child who was born yesterday at nine-and-a-half pounds. A spokesman said: "Mother and baby are doing well and Dappy is very proud." The couple are already parents to two-year-old son Gino who now has a little brother called Milo N-Dubz were among the stars who entertained the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall at the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium on Thursday) Others who performed, included Cheryl Cole, Take That and BGT winners Spel Bound The event was hosted by Micheal McIntyer. Dappy had said in an interview earlier this year that becoming a father for the second time was making him behave more responsibly. He said: "This is the new Dappy, the family man - so long to all of the bad Dappy you've heard about." Stacey Solomon wins I’m a Celebrity… Local star Stacey Solomon was crowned Queen of the jungle last weekend when she won I’m a Celebrity…Get me out of here. After Ant and Dec announced she had beat fellow finalist and Happy Monday’s frontman Shaun Ryder the Dagenham born star broke down into tears and said "What the hell just happened? Thank you so much, I dunno what to say." When she was able to leave the camp she crossed the bridge and was desperate to see son Zach, mum Fiona and her Boyfriend Aaron. Stacey became the most favoured contestant ever to win the show, with some bookmakers giving odds of 1/16 on her to be crowned Queen. After coming just 3rd on Last years X-factor. When she was asked did her jungle experience mean more to her than the X-factor she said "Either or, I just feel privileged to have gotten to do both of them." After leaving the camp Stacey explained: "I can't wait to get back to Dagenham. I'm going to see my friends and go down the pub for a Malibu and pineapple. Maybe two." Well done Stacey! Lady GaGa WaxWorks If you thought one Lady Gaga was bad enough imagine having 8 all over the world! Don’t panic she hasn’t been cloned or anything like that, but there has had 8 wax work modals made of the superstar. There was many requests by fans for these modals so the team at the ever famous Madame Tussauds decided to create a small army of Gagas in branches including London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Germany. The wax work in the London branch the Poker Face singer appears in a Philip Treacy Telephone hat and a custom-made Giorgio Armani midnight blue suit with a double-breasted jacket, pagoda-style shoulders and flared trousers, which she wore on the Jonathan Ross show. A spokesperson for the German branch said: "It was all over the world the same answer, we want Lady Gaga!" The Lady Gaga waxworks cost £150,000 each to create, totalling £1.2million for all eight figures Rapping R-Pattz The third instalment of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, was realised on DVD and Blu-ray on Sunday. Eclipse star and heat throb Robert Pattinson was ‘Obsessed’ with a certain star that you may not have first thought of. Can you have a guess of who it is? If you said Eminem then you got it right! Rob himself has said "You want a secret? OK, how about this - I've got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They're very amusing! I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his 'Slim Shady' CD. I think he's a genius." The 24-year-old star even had his own "crew" but admits his lyrics were less-than-authentic. He explained "Most of my rhymes were stolen off other people anyway. They were all like, 'I was raised on these streets.', which was a complete farce because I was actually raised in quite a nice area of London called Barnes. Not very ghetto at all! Robert has previously recorded tracks for the 'Twilight' soundtracks but insists he has no plans to move into music full time. He said: "I'm a bit of an attention seeker - I love being on stage. But the thought of performing music on stage terrifies me. I'm not scared of acting though." However, if the chance came to perform with rapper Eminem, Robert would jump at the chance. He said: "I'd love to rap with Eminem! That would be really amazing." Well what a new experience that would be for us all. A Rapping Vampire!
