SHOW BIZ and TV for the Weekend

If the pennies are still pinching after Christmas there are plenty of movies to watch on the telly.   Tonight there are two great movies not to be missed, The Talented Mr Ripley on More 4 and Shallow Hal on Fiver both of which are on at 9pm.

If you have no interest in the talentless competitions this weekend with "I'm a celebrity that's gotta dance on ice"  then Saturday night has movies to please both the girls and boys in the house!
For the ladies there is Chick flick The Devil wears Prada on Channel 4 at 8pm and for the men of the house or those that like Tarantino movies there is Reservoir Dogs on FIVE USA at 10pm.
However, if classic comedy is your thing then Police Academy 4 is on Fiver at 8.15 and The dukes of Hazard is on Watch at 10pm.

Finally if you are planning an evening on the sofa with the family on Sunday there are several movies to choose from. On Channel 4 the School of Rock starts the evening at 5.25pm then over
on BBC 2 Legally Blonde starts at 5.30 with the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince of Caspian at 8pm on BBC 3.  Once the kids have been tucked up in bed, the dishes are put away and the shirt has been
ironed for the morning, you can snuggle in the sofa for the thrilling first movie in the Bourne Trilogy starring Matt Damon on ITV2 at 10pm.
