Pinch punch day five of the month

The year seems to be flying along, we are almost at Easter and I've still got some sweets left from Christmas. Still one things for sure we are having a busy time here..lots of activities mentioned for those who like to be local and support local things. Andy Parsons will be joining the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation at the Comedy Store. Other comedians on the bill include Paul Thorne, Martin Coyote, Steve Gribbin, Alun Cochrane and Zoe Lyons. Michael McIntyre, at the Soho Theatre. 9th, 10th, 15th and 16th March 2011. Michael McIntyre is one of the most popular comedians on TV, and you can catch him trying out some brand-new material in a “work in progress” show at the Soho Theatre. Stewart Lee, at the Leicester Square Theatre 13th March 2011. Following his sell-out season last year, the acclaimed writer and comedian Stewart Lee presents a vegetable stew of brand new work in preparation for his 2011 TV series. My Live music choices........ KT Tunstall - HMV Forum, Kentish town The singer-songwriter has risen enormously since her early years in St Andrews. Tunstall's breakthrough came in 2006 when her debut album 'Eye To The Telescope' sold four million albums worldwide. She has subsequently won a Brit Award and is recognised as one of the most talented singer-songwriters in the British music scene. Wed 09 / Thur 10 Mar. Beady Eye - Troxy, Limehouse Loudmouth Britrock veteran Liam Gallagher returns to the live stage after a stint in the fashion world. Following the departure of Noel Gallagher from Oasis, Liam and remaining members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock decided to dissolve the old band and re-emerge as Beady Eye. Fri 11 Mar. Chase and Status - Roundhouse, Camden A session of drum 'n' bass, electronic and dubstep from the duo. Sat 12 Mar. Goldie Lookin Chain - The Underworld, Camden Ironic rap group from South Wales produce controversial material ridiculing the 'bling' culture of the noughties.
