A Truly Breathtaking Week Of Music - 12/03/11

This week we looked forward to an absolutely stunning new release in the form of Josh T Pearsons solo debut album Last Of The Country Gentlemen. A real contender for album of the year and we can't recommend it enough.

And if that wasn't enough, we are also blown away by discovering the artist Grouper (moniker of Liz Harris), her albums Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill and Way Their Crept are moving ethereal masterpieces, leaving you breathless after every listen, truly beautiful.

Then there was some new tracks from Battles, TV On The Radio, Widowspeak, Lykke Li and Explosions In The Sky.

The 3some this week came from artists that are being featured in the new season of Top 20 shows here on Phoenix. To check out the schedule and vote for your favourite tracks just check out the following link : http://www.phoenixfm.com/top20.php
