SERJ TANKIAN - ELECT THE DEAD - NEW ALBULM RELEASE!!!

Serj Tankian from System of a Down today is releasing his new albulm Elect the Dead. The albulm is being released on Serj's own record label "Serjical Strike." He claims most of the songs took a few years to make, so you kinda guess how much effort he has put into it. He also plays most of the instruments heard so its quite an impressive piece of work. The song has 12 tracks, these are...

1. Empty Walls

2. Unthinking Majority

3. Money

4. Feed Us

5. Saving Us

6. Sky Is Over

7. Baby

8. Honking Antelope

9. Lie Lie Lie

10. Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition

11. Beethoven's c***

12. Elect The Dead

I believe the songs are enjoyable but the first three are the best. Empty Walls is definately going to be one of Serj's big hits. I love the way, the piano starts at the start of most songs as it adds a kind of haunting ambient sound, then BLAM! it smacks you in the face with the rock! I also like the way in the background you can hear the Opera Singer Ani Maldjian. Most of the Albulm is very political, which is very much like System of a Down, which is my only downside about this albulm, its just like another System of a Down albulm. Its a nice albulm with some cracking tunes, but nothing really has changed, and to be honest, its kind of how I like it really.

Elect the Dead is Avaliable from the 22nd of October. You can buy it in all Good Music Shops (Shame theres none in brentwood anymore haha!) Elect the dead will also be avaliable in a deluxe edition!
